On 05. January 10 Workers' Initiative activists and Collar Textill shop committee representatives visited city office in Opatów. Workers were cheated by employer. They expect support form local government. They fight for they remunerations and other perks which are still not payed.

There are also actions to save even some workplaces in Collar Textil factory. This company was one of the largest employers district Opatów. Workers talk about cooperative creation. WI help them to realize this project successfully. It could save some workplaces.

WI activists came yesterday. This is the second WI support action in factory. The main aim of "visit" in city office was: obtain garbage disposal from factory area, recover phone communication, supplying of electricity. Mayor pro missed that she is going to fulfil all postulates/demands. Some times ago workers prevented to shut off water supply. Shop committee get district governor's promises of power supply.

There was created request to the prosecutor. Employer embezzled money from Workers Loan-Assistance Fund. Unions did not become premiums. Employer did not send money to national insurer. Employer embezzled  money from voluntary worker's insurance too. The workers lost dozen thousand of Polish zloty. The occupation of factory is pending. The crew wait for 19.01.2010 when court in Kielce start the case of the company bankruptcy. It can give workers possibility to become some assistance money from state fund
